The City of Denver was a mining hub during the Gold Rush in the mid-1800s. The people migrating to Denver during that time were adventurous and outdoorsy, and the people moving to Denver today have similar traits.

Denver has more than 300 days of sunshine a year, and one of the largest Ethiopian populations in the country.

Denver Union Station was recently rehabilitated and passengers can now travel to and from the airport via train. This revamp has helped revitalize Lower Downtown (LoDo) Denver.

The most “Denver” thing to do is ride your bike around the city and stop for a cold beer at one of the 85 local breweries.
