Episode Highlights:

Before the financial crisis hit in 2007-08, a lot of large banking organizations focused on increasing their footprint to gain market share. Now, those same banking organizations are focusing on reducing their footprint due to expensive real estate costs.

A key design trend right now in the retail banking space is transforming  traditional and drab bank branches into engaging, consultative spaces.

Technology is taking the retail banking industry by storm, allowing customers to make easier and faster transactions.

The shift toward consultative spaces will continue to escalate because there’s a growing appetite for financial education and advice among customers.
