JENNIFER HATTON RECEIVES IAMC AWARD FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE

IA Interior Architects is pleased to announce that Jennifer Hatton, Managing Principal of Client Services, has been honored with the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) Michael P. Hickey Award. Presented at the IAMC Spring Professional Forum on May 8, 2018 in Savannah, this award honors those who are stalwart ambassadors for IAMC, uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the profession, and generously give back to the industry.

Her list of IAMC accomplishments is impressive and lengthy: Jennifer has been a member of the organization since 2007, and is an IAMC Fellow. She has recruited a total of 13 IAMC Active members and was the recipient of the Recruiter’s Club Award in 2010, 2014, and 2015. She has served as co-chair of the membership committee twice, served as co-chair of the programs committee, and has served on various other committee appointments. She is an IAMC Ambassador and a member of the 2028 Strategic Taskforce.

“Jennifer has been an invaluable contributor to IAMC from the moment she joined the organization over 10 years ago. From serving as an IAMC Ambassador, participating on three of our committees, to being the Recruiter of the Year, she exemplifies what it means to uphold the standard,” said J. Tate Godfrey, CEcD, executive director of IAMC. “Jennifer is truly a champion of IAMC and is a superb client services professional. She embodies what it means to be a mentor within the profession and diligently works to make this world a better place. We are thrilled to have Jennifer as an IAMC member and fellow, and overjoyed to present her with this award.”

As Managing Principal of Client Services at IA, Jennifer has been instrumental, during her 13 years with the firm, in developing new business as well as managing long-term client relationships. She participates on the firm’s executive committee, contributing her expertise and knowledge to evolving the firm’s strategic direction.

“We are so proud of Jennifer and the honor that IAMC has bestowed upon her,” states David Bourke, Co-President/CEO of IA. “She is one of the great ambassadors for IA and our industry. She touches everyone she meets with her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to giving back and making a difference in people’s lives.”

“I am profoundly honored to receive the Michael P. Hickey Award for service excellence,” notes Jennifer. “The IAMC organization has shaped me both professionally and personally in the most positive and tremendous ways possible. Mike Hickey was a beacon of thought leadership, kindness and friendship, and to receive this honor in his name is incredibly special and something I will treasure forever.”
